Our Mission

To train competent health personnel that can provide qualitative health care delivery services to individuals, families, communities and the society at large.

Our Objectives

To provide training and research in Health Technology leading to the attainment of a Diploma and Higher Diploma and to promote research and other means in the health profession

Admission Requirements

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

• Diploma course

• Duration of two (3) years

•Entry Requirements: Minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC, SSCE or NECO at not more than two sittings. The five-credit pass should include English Language, Mathematics, Biology Chemistry and Physics.

a) Environmental Health Technologist Course (EHT)

This is a Higher National Diploma (HND) course accredited by WAHEB.

• Duration of four (4) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC, or NECO in not more than two sittings. The five-credit pass should include English, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, and Economics. Chemistry, Biology and English language are compulsory.

b) Environmental Health Technician (EVT)

• Diploma course (ND)

• Duration of three (3) years • Entry requirement:

A minimum of four (4) credits in WAEC or NECO in not more than two sittings. The four-credit pass should include English 11 language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Health science, Geography and Economics; English language and Biology are compulsory.

c) Environmental Health Assistant (EHA)

• Certificate course

• Duration of two (2) years

• Entry requirement: A minimum of five (5) passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or teachers Grade II at merit not more than 2 settings. The Five passes should include English language, Biology, Health Science, Chemistry, Physics, Nutrition, Geography and Economics.

d) Health Education and Promotion (HEP)

•Diploma course (ND)

• Duration of two (2) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of four (4) credit in WAEC or NECO in not more than 2 sittings. The credits pass should include English language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Geography and Economics. English Language, Biology and Mathematics are compulsory.

a) Community Health Extension Workers Course (CHEW)

• Diploma course

• Duration of three (3) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC or NECO in not more than two (2) sittings. The five credit passes should include English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics. Note: Holders of JCHEW with a minimum of 2 years worldng experience are expected to spend 2 years in the course and must possess the above entry requirement.

b) Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)

Certificate course

• Duration of two (2) years

• Entry requirement: A minimum of Three (3) Credit and Two (2) passes in WAEC or NECO in not more than 2 sitting. The Three Credit should include, English language, Mathematics, Biology, while the passes should include Chemistry and Physics.

Health Information Management Technician

• Diploma course

• Duration of three (3) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of three (3) credits and two (2) passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than 2 sitting. The three credits passes should include English, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Health Science.

Dental Health Technician (DHT)

• Diploma course (ND)

• Duration of three (3) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of five credit in WAEC, or NECO in not more than two sittings. The credit passes should include English Language and any 3 of the following subjects; Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Diploma course (ND)

• Duration of three (3) years

• Entry requirements: A minimum of five credit in WAEC, or NECO in not more than two sittings. The credit passes should include English Language and any 3 of the following subjects; Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Registration Guidelines

Successful candidates coming in for registration MUST come along with all the requirements listed in their admission letters. Candidates are advised to take note of the quantity of the items they are to bring and note that specific brands’ names are indicated, other brands will NOT be accepted by the college.

Student Union

Student Unionism is encouraged and recognized with every registered student (female and male) a member. Student Union leadership shall be comprised of both male and female students. The college management reserve the power to encourage and recognize student union and association or otherwise.
